AWC Multipurpose Containment

An exclusive “dual process” feature available with the AWC modules allows them to be used for both dry or wet applications using the same fan(s).

AWC Multipurpose Containment

Operating Cost

Our AWC unit provides a lower cost of operation. Equipped with energy efficient, low horsepower fans means you will minimize your energy costs by as much as 40 – 50%, compared to the horsepower required by most other equipment.

Versatility

AirWall units are very versatile and can be used in many different configurations. We have standalone point source collection systems as well as much larger, plenum mounted systems of several hundred thousand CFM to handle large workspaces. AirWalls can be configured in numerous ways allowing them to adapt to just about any application.

Patented Design

Our patented large area inlet enables the AirWall to operate with less airflow resistance. The unique front baffle design results in lower air flow resistance which reduces the fan horsepower requirement. Our automatic “clean on demand” filter cleaning system extends the life and efficiency of the filters while minimizing your filter replacement costs.

Equipment

All standard AirWall packages include fan and motor, filters, UL Listed IEC stater in NEMA 12 enclosure as well as filter pressure transducer with digital display, housed in a NEMA 12 enclosure.

AWC Modules

The AWC modules will connect to a remote fan(s) sized for the specific installation. Each AWC module can filter from 32,000 to 48,000 CFM.

An exclusive “dual process” feature available with the AWC modules allows them to be used for both dry or wet applications using the same fan(s). During wet process applications the plenum will draw air directly though a set of low leakage dampers in the front of the clean air plenum, by-passing the cartridge filters to provide simple ventilation or air movement during wet processes.

During dry process operations producing dust, these dampers will close and an additional set of low leakage dampers inside the plenum will open to allow the air to flow through the baffled air inlets and then through the cartridge filters. The dampers are automatically controlled to allow only one set to be open at a time, depending on the type of operation being performed.

Several AWC modules may be connected side by side to provide dust collection volumes of over 1,000,000 CFM. All AWC modules are provided with an automatic reverse pulse filter purging system.

Expandable

AWC modules can be placed in a side-by-side configuration to handle even the largest facilities.

Simple & Inexpensive

Costly duct work is eliminated allowing for reduced installation time and less facility modification.

Hassle Free Cleaning

Integrated digital controls monitor the pressure drop across all filters and automatically sense when it’s time to self-clean.
